AQHA "Mr Blackburn 2001" and NFQHA 98.4% "Fourthy's Last Buck", 15.1h, 2001 model Triple Registered Dun stallion. Blackburn is standing under new ownership for the 2013 breeding season. The majority of his offspring are up north and are used everyday to work cattle. He is known for throwing thick Big boned foals, even when bred to smaller framed mares! Blackburn is a proven sire of both roping and halter horses. All of his offspring have been easily trained and have a lot of brains with the good Foundation looks. Blackburn so far has never thrown a brown, bay, black, chestnut or sorrel foal out of 50 something foals between paints and qh`s. Has thrown color on everything he has been bred to (1 roan, palomino`s, buckskins, duns, silver duns). Has always thrown buckskins or silver duns when bred to greys so far. Will start standing him February 2013. You cant ask for a nicer stallion to breed your mare (s) to. He has the looks, gene pull and brains that you want to put onto your foals! Blackburn looks the spitting image of his sire build wise when he is kept in a stall and fed like a show horse. He has just been a pasture horse the last few years other than to breed a few mares. Throws nice halter type, roping, ranch horses. Would be a good cross on those racing bred or cutting bred mares to get those barrel prospect out of.
