Proven broodmare vet ultrasounded in foal for April 25th and she usually foals a few days earlier. Was broke to ride and ridden quite a bit years ago but has been a broodmare for some time now and that's the way I'm selling her. I have seen nothing unsound about her and I've owned her for 5 years. Absolutely excellent broodmare. If someone wants to have a broodmare and raise a baby once but knows little about it this would be a beginners type of mare. She is quiet, very gentle to handle, easy to catch, excellent with farrier, shots and worming. You can spend time with her foal and not worry about her running you out of the pen with her new baby.
She is a great mother and milker. No breeding issues with this mare whatsoever, settles right away, shows a good heat and breeds easy. Stands 14.2 HH at the most. She is an own daughter of Snip of Colonel x Colonel Freckles with a lot of Doc Bar and Otoe also. She has a 1/2 brother nicknamed the Caveman that was Heel Horse of the Year for 2010 & 2012. She had some excellent foals prior to me getting her and since I bought her open in 2011 I have had 5 out of her. A palomino filly and a bay stud colt out of my buckskin stud and three blue roans out of my blue roan stud. She is currently in foal to my world shown in calf roping blue roan stud and as he is homozygous she will have a roan foal for sure, can't say it will be blue but most likely will be again. WYO BLUE HAYES is an own son of PLENTY TRY, he has a high % of Blue Valentine, Hancock and Texas Blue Bonnet in his background. I usually sell her foals for $2500 right off of her and prices have gone up lately. Also pictured are some of her past foals I've had and the blue stud she is bred to. Cannot say anything negative about this mare at and Hate to see her leave. I've been downsizing quite a bit and it took me some time to get to the point of letting this one go.
