Ritz is a flashy little POA mare. I have owned Ritz for the previous two years. We have competed in several open/4-H shows in Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship (Pony), English equitation, English Pleasure, Trail, and Halter Showmanship. I, with the help of my great riding instructor, have taught her how to ride English this summer! I earned a 4-H State fair trip this year! Ritz is 14 years old. I showed Ritz in the State 4-H show in the western pleasure/horsemanship, showmanship, English pleasure/equitation classes. At that time, Ritz had just been diagnosed with Moon-blindness, but we went to show and did well together. No one would have guessed that she was blind, and she went into the arenas and gave her all. Ritz is a solid, level headed mare. She doesn't rear, or spook. At this point, I have outgrown her and have purchased a full size horse that I need to be working with. Ritz taught me so much and I had many good lessons over the summers with her. We are looking for an excellent home that will continue to use her. Ritz bathes/clips like a dream, she has been shown at many shows throughout her lifetime, and knows when she's showing. She is an easy keeper. She is barefoot and has never needed shoes. She was just trimmed about a few weeks ago. She is up-to-date on all of her vacc/worming/coggins. Despite her blindness issues, she is a very healthy horse and has never foundered or had any illnesses. She is a great little mare! We are not in to make money but to find her a great new home where she will be used. We may be willing to give her to the right home!
