Sky is a 1996 15.1hh Flea Bitten Grey APHA registered mare (TJ'S LIL AMBER). She is out of Jetalito - Zan Parr Bar - Two Eyed Jack. She came from Wolfe Ranch in Oklahoma where she was used as a ranch horse and a cutting horse. She was most recently used as a jumper in the local schooling shows. Sky has been successful in level 1 jumpers and .5 jumpers (jumped consistently at 2.9"-3'ft) at the schooling shows. She is very "scopey", and very athletic, she will do anything you ask of her. Although she is 15 she has the spirit of a 5 year old and can be shown in the english circuit for a couple more years. Sky would make a great trail horse, or equitation horse. She moves beautifully and she is just great all around! She needs a confident rider and has the ability to take an intermediate rider to the next level! Sky is a quick mover with a lot of power so for the more athletic activities (such as jumping) she would need someone who knows how to ride, but she would make a perfect trail, ranch or pleasure horse for a rider of any level. She would also be suitable to trot cross rails with any level rider, or would make a fabulous schooling horse.
