Very nice spinal clearance, fleece panels that distribute rider's weight evenly, with a slight curve to accomodate the gaited horse's back. This saddle has the EXTRA WIDE TREE. It was used on a 15 hd Rocky Mountain Horse, that is stocky, with mutton whithers, a very round barrel-shaped body and boulder-shoulders. This saddle fit my horse perfectly and he gaited very well with it. I felt very safe and securely seated and was very comfortable. Everywhere I went I got compliments on this saddle. The color is very unique and looks stunning on any color horse. I am only selling it because I have arthritis in my hands and can't lift it myself onto my horse these days and will be trying out a treeless saddle.
