when I arrived:
I was a first time horse buyer and was told about Jonah through my trainer. He was the first horse I went to look at, and he was literally a mile or two down the road. I figured it wouldn't hurt to look and loved him immediately.
bio:
Jonah is a backwoods bred Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse cross. He was originally bred for backwoods racing for money, but was liked too much and spared that fate. He was moved through numerous homes until he met me.
special features:
He's pigeon-toed and crosses his legs often. His withers are like sky scrapers and his neck isn't exactly the longest. If he even hears a wrapper or the jangle of the bins and buckets sends him into a frenzy. But, he is the best snuggler.
likes:
Food. He just likes food in general... He really loves sugar cubes, peppermints, Nicker Makers, and BROWN CINNAMON SUGAR POP-TARTS. He likes to jump (sometimes), and he loves trails and water. He also loves to run me into trees and limbs...
dislikes:
Dressage, but that's what we do ninety-eight percent of the time. He doesn't like baths at all. It's rare for him to stand still for a bath. Any slightly strenuous work is treacherous and inhumane in his eyes. Trailers are also scary monsters to him.
