I purchased Artisan as a 2 year old eventing prospect. I was told he would mature around 16.2H. He is now almost 4 and 15.2h, likely topping out at 15.3-16h

bio:

Artisan spent 2 weeks with a trainer last fall and was riding w/t/c in the round pen quietly. No buck or rear, not spooky. He has not been ridden since. He leads, ties, loads, etc. He is gentle but hasn't had a ton of handling.

special features:

The trainer reported that Artisan was nicely forward and responsive to the aids. He will need a balanced, quiet rider or will should be sent to a trainer for some additional training.

likes:

His lineage goes back to State of the Art and Art Deco. He was sired by an Oldenburg Stallion and is out of a TB x Paint/Percheron mare.

dislikes:

Artisan needs someone quiet and skilled to bring him along. He will make a nice, quiet amateurs horse with additional training
