Angel is a 9 year old APHA Registered Quarter Horse Mare who stands 15.2H with great conformation. Angel is calm and not spooky. She loads and trailers well. Angel is a very easy keeper and is in great physical condition. She loves to be groomed, stands well for the farrier and for bathing. Currently Angel has been used primarily as a trail horse but is familiar with barrels and poles. With very little practice, Angel has been able to run a 21 second pattern. On the trails, Angel is comfortable in front, middle or back of the pack and is confident. She is road safe. Angel needs light hands and prefers to neck rein. She can work off of leg cues and backs well. Angel walks, trots and canters. Her trot rivals that of gaited horses. Angel has good forward motion and does not need to be coaxed. She easily moves between gaits. Angel is a quality horse with great training. I am selling her because she has so much potential and I am not skilled enough to allow her to meet her full abilities. Beginners can ride her but the best home for Angel is one in which she has a skilled owner who can take Angel to the next level. I am wasting her as a trail horse only. She is UTD on shots and has had her feet done recently. If interested, please email me at jszalejko at metalink.net

Is she finished in barrels? Or just need pushed for speed? Was the 21in barrels or poles?
No, Angel is far from done. She has the potential to be an unbelievable barrel racer or any competitive racing event. The 21" we noted was in barrels with a fairly inexperienced rider. The only thing Angel needs is an experienced rider who will train with her in the these events. She is a powerful horse with upside potential.
