I've had spirit for about a year and a half. Spirit turned 6 last may. He has been such a good boy to me, it's hard to let him go. Spirit has the potential to be a good gaming horse, or a pleasure horse. He loves trail rides, as well. He would do well in trail competitions.
He was used in ranch work until the age of 5, when i got him. Hes had 60 days of pro training plus what i did in hand with him. He's great to lunge. Has a playful side to him! He is supple in a snaffle, and bends and flexes adoringly. He runs barrels and runs poles like a pro, along with omaksee games, just needs someone to push him faster. He does lead changes with ease. He's calm at the gate, and doesnt spook. Has been hauled to a couple shows, and did great! good times on barrels, key, jumping figure 8, and poles. I've ridden him in parades, and he had no problem. He loads like an angel. The reason im wanting to trade him, is Im looking for a faster horse i can take to the next level. Hes laid back, is traffic safe and is husband safe. Rider just needs confidence and to know how to ride. More experianced rider is perferred. He loves trails, crosses and swims water/rivers/lakes without a second thought and does small jumps. He lunges beautifully, and has never given me a problem. You could use him for virtually anything. He does nice side passes, and has a nice stride. He tucks his head and collects beautifully. He has never once kicked for bit at any horse or human, and is usually the lowest in the herd. He hasn't had any health problems, he is perfectly sound. In the past, I've not ridden him for months, and when i finally rode him again, he picked up like it was natural. nothing escapes his mind, he learns easy, and loves to learn new things! He would be good for anything with cattle, has team penned before and loved it. Prospect for cutting, or pleasure. Already knows games (barrels, poles, and omaksee games)
I'm looking for a barrel horse that i can take to the next level for showing. Must be almost finished, or patterned to a canter, at the least. I would prefer a 15 hh+ horse, and would prefer a thoroughbred, or quarter horse. I'm open to any kind of offer though! No gaited horses.
I would like at least 1200$ He is registered, but we lost the papers.
I have no phone at the moment.

Price is negotiable to a good home
