Very pretty lots of potential. Mostly low key and laid back but he has some spunk. A bit of a late bloomer but really starting to muscle up. Registered as a roan but looks like a leopard. Professionally started Under saddle August 1st through Mid October. I have been riding him myself since mid October. Working in Natural Horsemanship. Rides on a loose rein in a bosal or rope hackamore. Has not been started in a bit. Flexes well vertically and latterally, backs and sidepasses in the saddle and on the ground. We have started opening gates and starting to neck rein. Trainer did canter work but I have not as I don't feel I have enough control in the trot to move to the canter. He has startled a few times but never bucked or run off. Could go English and Western. Nice jog and extended trot with nice flat knees and a touch of hang time in the jog. I was told he could make a real nice all around. I have worked him on the ground up and down the road and traffic did not seem to bother him. He also is learning to negotiate trails on short trail courses on the property even hopped over a couple of logs and goes through water. I bought him to poentially ride western trail, lower level dressage and possibly hunter jumper. Now that I have had him back from the trainer a while I have found I do not have the time to work a young horse consistantly. I also found that I do not have the confidence I had in my younger years needed to ride a young green horse. I need an older seasoned trail horse. No more babies for me. Ties, clips, loads. UTD on everything. Breeding goes back to ApHC Dreamfinder, Wapitis Maid, Cowboy Justice, and AQHA Skip's Reward and Bar Mount. 3/4 ApHC 1/4 AQHA. No Impressive. I hate to part with this beautiful colt but I cannot do him justice and I don't want to waste the training already put on him.
