Nice looking palomino gelding getting more color as he ages. We had a drought in our area last summer, a little short of hay, so, I dropped his price by half. His full palomino sister and full palomino brother both matured at 14.3hh like their Dam who was from a long line of palominos on the female side. So, I thought this pretty dish faced fellow would work well with my aching knees to get on. But, even though I did not push him with grain, almost 15.1hh high, and still growing! This breeding is good old working Polish bloodline and known to mature slow and long life if they stay healthy.
Anyway, I decided not to send him to the trainer last summer because he is getting to tall for my achy knees, I need a horse closer to the ground. He is Halter Broke Only, stands tied good to hitch rail with either short or long lead. Use to rope touching his legs. Very friendly fellow, first to come to gate to get caught. Curious about everything, I would guess he is extra smart.
I did not get free time to do ground work on him the last two years, two aging parents that needed trips to Dr's, care, then estate sales took up all our free time the last couple years, so Trigger is a fresh book for someone to write on. But this is a smart colt, he should pick up things fast.
He had his 2013 boosters on May 10th for Rabies, West Nile, E/W Sleeping Sickness, and Tetanus. He is a light palomino getting more color as he ages, beautifully marked, he has classic dish face with a star with connected strip to snip over left nostril and upper lip. A left fore partial sock, right fore partial fetlock and right hind stocking.
TRIGGER is smart and well mannered, I'm just guessing maybe not for a very beginner, better for a person that enjoys a little spirit and friendly in a very pretty package. A grandma in her 70's does ride his full sister and she was frisky at 3 years, but was well trained by her trainer. With conditioning, he could be a show horse. He has a very good wither to hold a saddle.
TRIGGER is registered as a 3/4 Arabian, but in reality he is 55/64 Arabian (AHA,IAHA,AHRA), 1/8 Spanish Mustang (SMR), and 1/64 Quarter Horse (AQHA). We would prefer a good home for him.
