Serenity Hanoverians in Brinston Ontario is offering this lovely Hanoverian Mare Deshmina, for sale.
Superior Dressage Breeding makes up this lovely Hanoverian Mare. With Bloodlines of De Niro (Donnerhall) / Weltmeyer (World Cup I) and Bolero on the sire's side, and her dam's pedigree of Longchamp (Laurie's Crusador), Maurice (Matcho AA), this mare has been bred for dressage. She was born April 17, 2011 (coming three years old).
She currently stands 16 HH, I believe she will reach 16.2 H.H. or better, upon maturity.
Deshmina's half sister (same dam) sired by De Niro (who is the Sire to Deshmina's sire Danone 1) meaning very closely related on the sire side, was just awarded her Hanoverian Premium Candidate (formerly known as Elite Mare Candidate) at her Mare Performance Test and Mare Show. She was the Top score of her Mare Performance Test with an overall score of 7.75 % and she won the mare show as well.
The sire Danone I is a lovely dressage bred stallion whose sire is
De Niro, out of SPS Well done, sired by the legendary Weltmeyer, out of a Bolero Dam. Very exciting dressage breeding on both sides.
The dam is my imported mare Laura, who is sired by Longchamp (Laurie's Crusador) out of a Maurice (Matcho AA)/Wenzel I Mare.
Sire Danone I is a stunning 16.3 H.H. Hanoverian Stallion(De Niro – Weltmeyer – Bolero)
Danone was the 2003 Swedish stallion licensing champion
In 2006 he won young horse tests and qualified for Young Horse Championships, and finalist at World Young Horse Championships
Unbelievable pedigree combining De Niro with the noble blood of Weltmeyer-Absatz and Bolero producing plenty of expression and action in the foreleg and a fantastic activity in the hind leg in all 3 gaits.
In 2009 Danone provided a premium stallion in Verden who sold for 320,000 Euros to Austria, the vice champion of Vechta, sold for 130,000 Euros and in Westphalia a licensed stallion, auctioned for 60,000 Euros to the NRW state stud in Warendorf
2011, Danone was in the limelight with several top auction horses. His son Delioh von Buchmatt won the Swiss stallions performance test with 9.5 points for trot, gallop, rideability and aptitude for dressage.
2012, Danone and Theresa Wahler were victorious at Grand Prix level
2013, Danone‘s son Desperados and his rider Kathleen Keller celebrated numerous victories on advanced level dressage competitions. They qualified to the final of the Nürnberger Burgpokal for the second time.
Dam Laura (Longchamp/Maurice)
Laura is a modern, soft-eyed, brown/black German Imported Main Stud Book Hanoverian mare. 16.1 H.H. Laura, is sired by Longchamp out of a Maurice /Wenzel I /Absatz mother. She has been performance tested, receiving 8's on character, temperament, trot, walk and rideability, for an overall score of 7.29. Laura was selected for the European Foal Championships as a youngster and is a very graceful and elegant mare. At the 2003 VhW foal inspections Laura was cited by the jury as "the modern Hanoverian type... with ground covering gaits, good activity behind, and very good frame and carriage."
Dam's Sire Longchamp (Laurie's Crusador)
Longchamp was one of six Lauries Crusader sons licensed at the 1994 Verden approvals. In his 1995 performance test Longchamp received the enviable dressage score of 157.52 points, following this as runner-up in the three-year-old stallions classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses.
Longchamp has several wins in "Prix St. George" dressage competitions. His first sons were successfully presented at the stallion licensing in Verden 1999. Longchamp is a big-framed horse of attractive conformation, outstanding basic gaits, reliable temperament and excellent rideability.
Deshmina is ready to be started under saddle this spring. Her temperament would suit an adult amateur rider and she is best suited for someone looking to do dressage.
She would also be an excellent asset to any breeding operation looking to add a mare with excellent European bloodlines to their program.
