tack includes saddle, blanket, bridle w/ reins and bit on both.
both are up to date on shots and vaccinations, both get their feet trimmed regularly.
UPDATE 4/10/12: updated photos and yes they are still for sale. I'm 5'8" in the picture with buck and Cj (my feet touch the ground when i sit on Cj) there is also one with them standing next to each other for more of a size reference. and pardon the winter fuzzies.
will get coggins done if buyer wants.
Update: this spring/summer i do plan on teaching these two some tricks and i will work with Buck a bit on ground work.
UPDATE 4/4/12: im working with buck on ground tieing, pivoting, and side passing. he's doing very well at the moment and improving every time. and today i messed with Cj and i got him to bow! its the early stages of it (im there picking up his foot and puting weight on him.) but he did go down and stay down willingly till i let up at about 8 seconds.
Buck (the palomino appaloosa) 17 yrs old and about 14.3 hands high. Buck is trained to ride western and can go bareback. Doesnt like to to be tacked up or his feet trimed, can be difficult but not impossible. Buck is a project horse for someone with the equipment and patience. you can ride him but he has his good and bad days, most of which are bad days. he's bombproof but almost too much. this horse if he wants to be can be VERY suborn. he's also buddy sour to his buddy CJ which prevents us from showing him. i want to show really bad though and we dont want any more horses so the boys have to go. he's really friendly but alot of the time has the my way or highway attitude.
CJ is a cute little bay shetland at about 15yrs old and 3ft at the shoulder, when me and my sisters were younger he was a good size, but now he's just a pasture pet. I would like to CJ go somewhere where they can pasture him easier as he does have sore feet that flare up when he eats to much clover. he has a western saddle but he's not trained, just a horse to pony kids on. would make a nice little driving pony but the harness we have doesnt fit, and we dont have a cart. he's shy at times but still well behaved.
will negotiate on price and will not separate.
