New 2016 Lakota C8415 Charger Edition 4 horse with 15ft short wall living quarters. You can’t go wrong when buying a Lakota! This trailer is all aluminum with aluminum roof and floor, 8’ wide, 7’6” tall and fully insulated in the living quarters and horse area. Even the hay rack with ladder, dividers, AND saddle rack are aluminum and light weight. It has dual electric hydraulic 12k jacks for quick and easy hooking up and detaching. This trailer comes with a 4.0 gas generator and it has additional switch in the bed area for your convenience. Comes with two 8K axles with load range G radial tires on 17.5 aluminum wheels Extruded slats and a polished nose wrap on the outside protects the skin and gives the trailer a finished look plus it adds additional strength. Also the trailer has additional clearance lights, and additional tail lights, for maximum visibility and safety when hauling.
Let’s start with the living quarters. Lakota makes a factory built living quarter door with a roll up screen door which is stronger than your typical camper style door. As you walk in you will notice how much it opens up inside. The light hickory interior makes the inside seem more open. Plus Lakota makes a large flush floor slide out this is larger than most other trailer manufactures and it really opens up the inside of the living quarters when in the out position. Up in the bed area there is a TV on the right side mounted in a cabinet that swings out to be viewed by the bed area or the couch. There is a DVD/CD/AM/FM player hooked up to the TV, two interior, and two exterior speakers. Also included is a Cowboy Satellite package that has wiring to attach a portable or remote satellite to the entertainment center. There are two cabinets at the head of the bed and two by your feet. One cabinet on the bottom of the bed is deeper, and it has a hanger bar on the inside to hang clothes, the other is tall and narrow. In the 72” wide slide out there is a dinette that folds out into a bed for more sleeping arrangements. Across from the dinette on the other side is a sofa sleeper. This trailer has a nice open layout with the dinette and couch facing each other making it easier to socialize after an equine event. Also there are overhead cabinets in the slide out and across from the dinette there are five cabinets above the sofa. There is another large 32” TV recessed into the wall above the kitchen area so no matter where you sit you can see a TV. There are two small extra cabinets on the steps up to the bed area. Each window in the trailer has a pull down day and night shade.
The kitchen area is packed with storage and convenience! It has a 2 burner cooktop, a large double stainless steel sink with cover, a separate fridge and freezer, and a microwave. There are two large cabinets one above and one below the sink to store food or cleaning supplies. There are two more pull out drawers under the cooktop. Lastly next to the fridge you get one large cabinet, and FIVE pull out drawers. Never again will you run out of room for storage in your kitchen while travelling.
In the bathroom you get a large neo angle shower, a toilet, a single stainless steel sink and a large mirror. Above the shower is a skylight, and above the toilet is a power roof vent with a fan. There is a cabinet that opens like barn door style with a mirror on it above the sink, and a cabinet below the sink. With an array of even more storage space in the bathroom you have a large cabinet next to the shower with a hanger bar, 3 deep pull out drawers, and a smaller cabinet with shelves in it, in the bottom corner.
Now onto the horse area! Double walled of course, fully insulated and lined with white aluminum and like I stated earlier it has upgraded double LED tail and clearance lights for safer driving. This trailer has heavy duty feed doors with windows with easy reachable handles and face guards. These are durable doors that are built with added convenience and with the customer in mind. No need to force open and slam shut, these doors operate with very little effort. Each stall also has drop down feed doors with sliding bus windows on the tail side as well for extra air flow during those hot summer months. You get jail bar style padded dividers with easy slam latches and the first stall has a stud divider with a solid bottom panel. The stud divider is very convenient if you have a horse that does not haul well with others, or if you need extra space to store ice chests, or shavings in the first stall on those long trips! There are feed mangers in t
