Need a tough stock trailer to get you where you’re going? BIG BEND trailers is the way to go! This is a 2068FTDP model, which is a 20' long, 6'8" wide, full top stock trailer with 4' solid sides. The livestock area is 17' and the tack room is 3'. These trailers are VERY durable, beefed up stock trailers. The bottom frame of the trailer is built with 2x4 rectangle tubing which is stronger than normal goosenecks that use angle iron. Sides are built with solid steel and rectangle tubing so there are no places for water and manure to accumulate and rust out. Each of the runners under the floor are 2.5” x 2.5” square tubing welded solidly into the frame. For an easier ride it comes with two 7k torsion axles with 10 ply radial tires on a 16” steel wheel. Also there are NO exposed wires for trailering in rough brush environments. These stock trailers have full powder coating on the interior and exterior of the trailer, and have a spray liner on the front to protect it from gravel, mud, and water. Standard, this trailer has a quick coupler for easy hooking up.
This particular Big Bend trailer has a full top, and a tack room on the front. It includes butterfly gates on the back with an easy slam latch. The center gate is a full width gate with a sorting gate and they include easy slam latches too. There is a 3’ curb side escape door up front. At the bottom of the walls is a gap in between the wall and floor. This creates a space that lets manure and urine drain out. There will never be manure building up in the corners and rusting out the trailer. This gap also makes cleaning the trailer a quick process. Just rinse the manure out the sides. Comes standard with rubber mats.
Big Bend stock combos not only come with the tack in the front, but they also come with a lockable tool box on the driver side front corner under the fender. In the front tack room there is a big door with a metal brush tray, and 3 bridle hooks. There are 3 saddle tiers mounted on the wall, a light, 7 offset bridle hooks, and there is room in the nose to set buckets and equipment.
Big Bend trailers are not a typical stock trailer. They are meant to last a long time and take a beating. They were designed by ranchers to withstand going down a rough back country road with livestock, but have a classy look to be used for equine events with the tack room.
