According to the RPSI Judge at Rockafella's inspection, he is a well put together, good sized, elegant and modern colt with good elasticity in front, good step, good over reach and good basics.
"Fella" is a very long legged elegant bay gelding with one white stocking He has a great deal suspension at the trot and canter.
He comes by it naturally, as his sire, Ruben-O, an imported Dutch Warmblood stallion is known for imparting athleticism in his foals. He has an outgoing and curious personality that has made him a favorite of all who have met him. He appears to be quite smart and learns very quickly.
Ruben-O's sire is Ulft, a Keur stallion which means he has produced numerous great sport horses. His offspring excel internationally both in dressage and show jumping. He is one of the best stallions in the Dutch Warmblood studbook and is the sire of seven approved sons in Holland including Olympic Ferro who was the 2000 Olympic Silver Team Medalist in dressage and is ranked #1 in the World Stallion Rankings.
Rockafella’s dam, Saia is a GOV "Star" mare by the famous Hanoverian stallion, “Walk on Top” who successfully competed in Dressage, eventing and jumping, making him an all around excellent athlete. At his 100 day stallion testing, he finished third, with a score of 129.22. He received 9’s for temperament, trot, jumping and working ability, and even a 10 for his walk. Saia appears to pass on many of her sire’s best traits to her foals. She has produced 6 premium foals to date, including a 2006 Georgia Site Champion colt.
She received her "Star" status because of the high quality of her foals.
