Derby is a correctly built, big moving colt with a robust build. He is bold and brave and will excell in dressage, jumping or eventing as he matures. He should mature to a large pony size. He has been handled by adults and children since birth and he a friendly and willing colt. He has been weaned and is ready to go to his new home.

His excellent bloodlines speak for what a wonderful pony he will become. His mother is out of a Thoroughbred mare and by the imported Pinto Dutch Warmblood, Art Deco. His sire as a multi-champion pony producer, Rosmel's Notorious. Notorious is a bay roan and Derby's dam is a red roan. Derby has started showing evidence that he may shed out with some roaning on his back and in his tail.
