2009 Leopard Gelding - SOLD

Mardi Gras Magic (Buddy) is a 15.2 hand, 4 yr. old, black and white leopard gelding. He has an ROM in Open Color and an ROM in Open Halter and points in Non-Pro. He has qualified for the World Show every year in Color and Halter. He placed 10th in Weanling Colts at the 2009 World Show and won the Weanling Halter Futurity. He was shown in hand until last spring when he spent 90 days with Webb Parlier and while with Webb, he was ridden out on the road, worked cattle, had a rope thrown off of him, a well rounded exposure for all-around. He was ridden all summer, at least three times a week. He is currently turned out, but has enough weight that in 60 days with blankets and under lights, he could be slick and ready to go. Perfect for a youth to show in halter, showmanship and riding classes.

He is mature enough now to go on with training in your chosen endeavor. He has a "10" trot, that you can sit at any speed, but he is also powerful and can turn on the speed if asked. He is easy to work with, loves people and being messed with. He is great at shows, very calm and relaxed through it all. He is negative for HERDA and Hypp.
