Great trailer for showing! I have had this trailer the past 6 years when I was showing large hunter jumpers. It is the 'Thoroughbred' Model by Heart, with extra height and width for those larger horses. This model is 6’8” wide, 7’7” tall and has 11’-long stalls.
I tried to take lots of pictures, including any defects. The reason the trailer is sitting on an uphill slant is because my truck is honestly too tall to haul a gooseneck trailer. The neck itself can be adjusted to fit any height truck. The trailer is dirty on the outside! All the streaks on the white skin are just dirt, not stains.
I added the rough black strips on top of the fenders and at the "step" of the trailer into both escape doors and the tack room. The tires are in good shape though a few are a little low on air, I honestly haven't used this trailer much at all in the past 2 years.
The neck is steel and could use repainting because the rust does come through, this is just cosmetic and on the surface. However the latch and neck are completely fluid working and totally safe. (the neck isn't locked in the picture because I just moved the trailer 20' forward to get better pics) There are 2 safety cables and it has an emergency brake line. The wiring harness for the lights was chewed by someones dog at my barn so it looks terrible and not working. I am having this fixed. But all the lights do work! Including the one on the right side near the escape door, which is quite handy.
The cabinets are probably my favorite thing! There is also room between the cabinets and roof that is convenient to keep horse blankets tucked in. Also- the entire roof is insulated which keeps the trailer surprisingly cool even when parked in the sun in the summertime. I have had latches added to the top doors above the ramp so they can be safely open while hauling the trailer. A Sundowner dealership did this installation as well as the 2 small fans in the horse box for extra air movement.
Please email me with any additional questions! Thanks for looking!
