This beautiful sorrel mare is a registered breeding stock Paint, standing 15.1 hands tall and is 10 years old. I’ve owned her for almost 3 years now and have been running her in the NBHA barrel races and rodeos in our area and in lower Michigan. She is a solid 1D/2D free runner and is NOT a barrel hitter. I bought her from a family in Wisconsin who used her in all kinds of speed games including pole weaving. She will hesitate at the gate and want to plant her feet, but if you keep her moving she will enter the arena without issue. She’s won money and a buckle in the 1D last year for NBHA. She is awesome on trails and walks out nicely – anyone can ride her on the trails whether you’re alone or in a group. We’ve gone swimming in the river with a large group of horses/riders. She is super light on the front end and has a great pivot. Indy gets along well with other horses, is good for the vet and farrier. She is up-to-date on everything. Had her teeth floated in April. She loads in the trailer nicely, hauls well, and stands tied. She is not crazy about paste wormer so I do have to get creative with getting her to take it. I’m headed to college next year and can only haul one horse so I am going to concentrate on my gelding. Indy knows her job in the arena and will win you money every time. She’s a friendly girl and is the first to meet you at the gate. She is best suited for an experienced, quiet rider as she is a powerhouse. No beginners please. Lots of pictures available, and videos of rodeo runs/various gaming events. Priced at $6500. PM me for more pictures, videos, and questions!
