1999 AQHA grullo riding stallion EE
Blackburnscoolbreeze stands 14.2hh and weighs 1250 lbs. He is a classic foundation bred, bulldog style gentleman and he rides wonderful! "Cool" has amazing conformation and is very quiet and easy to handle. He is homozygous black (EEaaDd) and N/N for the 5-disease panel. He is 93+% foundation with 12% Blackburn, 10% King and 9% Pretty Buck. He has thrown 90% dun factor with lots of grullos. He had 60+ days of cutting training when he was younger but due to my health issues was never shown AQHA or IBHA. He was shown open and did very well in halter and ranch work. I have used him mostly for overnight camping/trail riding and also for lessons for several years. He is the horse I put the inexperienced kids and adults on as he is that quiet. He is very easy to handle for breeding and is a complete gentleman. He has been both hand bred and pasture bred but I am sure he would be very easy to collect for AI. I have his birth on video and I know all of his history so please ask any questions you might have.
I have struggled a lot with the decision to sell him and even considered gelding him but decided it wasn't worth the risk of surgery and he would make someone a great first stallion. My daughter wants to go to more shows and travel for clinics and camping so I just cannot keep breeding and have time for her. I have sold all my broodmares and just need to find him a good home.
