Gooseneck, Steel, Mattress, Spare Tires, Floor Mats
I really need to sell my trailer, my transmission went out in my truck 4 months ago, when I was moving over here, and as much as I love this trailer, my truck is a necessity right now. It's a Gooseneck 4 Horse straightload with partial living quarters/Dressing Room. 30 feet long starting from one end to the other and about 5 feet wide. The actually loading area is 15 feet for the horses, and when the divider is put up the front half is about 6-7 feet and back half is about 8. I bought this trailer 4 months ago and only used it for our move from North Carolina to here. I put brand new tires on it right before we left, had some safety and butt chains welded on and replaced a few floor boards. It is older has some rust, but has bright blue paint and a white roof. It pulled great and follows really nice. Its very long and thin and also has a center divider. The partial living quarters has a mattress, mini air conditioner, and leather storage chest with tons of hooks and bars to hang tack or clothing along the walls, as well as lights, but with plenty of room for a mini fridge, microwave, and probably some other things. I would throw my horses in this trailer again tomorrow and drive across the country again. It'd be great for local rodeos, camping, 4h, it's super roomy and has a lot of potential.
Pros: Paint looks nice
White roof to help reflect the heat
Old fashioned steel so may be old, but extremely sturdy
New tires
Pulls really well
Holds 4 but divider makes awesome room for 2 big box stalls. Back end is much longer for a bigger horse like a Tb or draft.
Air Conditioner
Comes with floor mats specifically made for the trailer
Also will include two spare tires, a tire iron, a jack, and a manure picker as well
Cons: (Mostly Cosmetic)
some rust
Backs end corners both got bent when on a slanted hill my truck leveled out but he trailer end sat down onto the road. The wires are all still intact for lighting and it doesn't affect the durability of the trailer at all.
Some of the wood on the inside of the escape doors was kicked by impatient horses, but the door was not affected at all, easy fix.
.
I have more pictures if you would like to see, Craigslist only lets me upload 4 at a time. And again I really really need to sell it, I'm open to offers as long as they're in reason.
