17inch medium tree Stackhouse close contact jump saddle EUC
My amazingly soft and comfortable 17 inch DG Stackhouse close contact saddle is up for sale because it does not fit my throughbred-type appendix mare. This is the best saddle I have ever ridden in and it is painful to have to sell it, but I need to buy my mare a saddle that fits! Saddle was made in September of 2006 and is in EUC. Seat is buttery-soft calfskin leather and flaps are newmarket printed leather. $5500 new, priced to sell at $2600. Includes calfskin leathers but not stirrups. Located in Madison, WI, and happy to ship anywhere in US at buyers expense. Medium tree, fits a little closer to medium-wide, and is shaped for warmblood/QH type withers. Flap is 13 1/4" from stirrup bar and 25" from cantle to most forward point on flap, with small front and back blocks. Additional photos available upon request. Tree is approx. 4". Photos are shown before and after conditioning (darker photos). Reasonable offers considered!
