I bought this saddle in 2004 brand new from the manufacturer in France. It is NOT a Beval Butet (the leather is slightly different, and they offer different sizes I believe). I have taken wonderful care of this saddle, regularly cleaning and oiling it. The tree is labeled as medium and measures 4", so it is a bit narrower - fits finer boned WB's and TB's well. As the leather is so soft and buttery, it does scratch easily, so there are a few nicks on the cantle (see pictures). Other than that, and some very slight discoloration/wear on the pommel, it is in wonderful condition. It's extremely comfortable to ride in and offers a deep seat with knee and thigh blocks. Unfortunately it does not fit my horse. Price is $2300. I will ship it in the original shipping container from the manufacturer. I will include the stirrup leathers and irons for an additional $100 - these are the Beval Butet leathers that retail for around $250 and are some of the best quality leathers you can get.
