This is a true monoflap saddle and gives you a very close feel. The outside girthing strap is embedded into soft cushy leather so you do not feel the strap at all. If you really want to feel your horse and be able to give very light aids this is definitely the saddle to try. It has a medium deep seat which has been asked for by many of our clients who do not like the newer really deep seated dressage saddles. It also has a k-panel which gives you the advantage of being able to adjust the flocking to fit within 1/2 tree size.

Serge panels conform beautifully to the horse's back, absorb shock and help dissipate heat.

We found most horses needed a deeper rear gusset than their standard gusset so had this one made with a deeper rear gusset to help balance the saddle to the conformations we normally see in uphill type horses.

This saddle is flocked with pure Jacob's wool (not synthetic wool) panels and has a large gullet to help guarantee your horses' spine won't be pinched. Serge is much more forgiving than leather and holds up over time.
