17" - 17.5" Hermes Brasilia Saddle with Blocks With a Medium-Narrow Tree and the flaps are normal length and and slightly forward
Tree: Standard/medium Hermes tree, which has a much narrower fit than most French saddles. Works well on Thoroughbreds or light Warmbloods. On my scale I would call this tree size medium-narrow but the shorter tree points found on this and most other French saddles does afford this saddle more flexibility in fit than other MN trees. There is less tree point there to interfere with the horse, and more soft panel to conform to the horse's shape. Seat: 17" medium-flat seat. The Brasilia has a narrow seat for exceptional close contact, with also a narrow twist. The seat measures out at just under 17 1/2". I believe this saddle's official size would be 17. It will sit like it is in between 17" and 17 1/2" - I call this 17 1/4". Flaps: The flaps are normal length and and slightly forward, measuring just over 13 3/4" from the stirrup bar down. The thick and and puffy, soft knee pads have an integrated block for a secure feel.
