16.2 Percheron/Thorougbred Gelding - Great mover, shown dressage

FOR SALE:

16.3 H Percheron/Thoroughbred cross. 7 years old. Beautiful dark bay. Still very green, but willing to work with the right partner. Would not do well in a lesson program, bonds very quickly with his rider. Needs a calm, confident rider to bring him along. He has a great deal of potential, right now his primary training has been in dressage to establish a good foundation. Has been over cross rails a few times. W/T/C both ways, learning to work off the seat, very light in the bridle. He can be nervous, so he would excel in a regular riding program with established parameters and a single rider. He is very kind, and tries very hard to please, but again is very green. Not a beginner horse. We are working on loading, he is excellent for the farrier, and bathes. Stands quietly to be tacked up and mounted. No vices or health issues, but he does have sensitive skin and would do best in a stall during the day. Sweats well.
