In 2011 he was shown Sidesaddle pleasure for the first time with only 2 short rides before the actual show. He won 3 blues/champion in his first Sidesaddle competition!
Be the envy of your competitors with this ready-to-win guy. In 2010, he won the VHSA Adult Hunter Plsr Champ, along with the VQHA-OSP Adult Hunter Under Saddle Champ & the Adult Hunter Over Fences Champ (& Reserve in Trail). He tied for Reserve in AHP @ the VHSA Championship Finals.
In 2009, at VHSA Finals, he placed 5th in both Special 2' O/F classes & 4th in U/S of that division (30+ horses) & got two 4ths & a 2nd in Adult Hntr Plsr (20+ horses). Also in 2009 for the VQHA-OSP he was Champion in H-O/F & Reserve in H-U/S.
In 2008 he won 7th in Adult Hunter Pleasure at VHSA Finals & was Champion in Adult H-U/S for the VQHA-OSP (they didn't have O/F division that year).
Prior to this his previous owner did not show him much in 2007, but in 2006 he was 3rd in VHSA Adult Hunter Plsr year end.
As a young horse he showed at QH Congress & was in the top 10/20 in Youth rider H-U/S, Hntr Eq, Wstrn Plsr, & Wstrn Eq. He can be ridden western now also.
When I purchased Cruiser in 2008 he only had limited jumping experience & had not been trail ridden. He jumps willingly point-&-shoot off contact or can be ridden on contact for collection/extension. He was shown 2' to retain his green status (3'9" was th highest at home). He has been ridden in the mountains, down highways, thru wide rocky streams, wooden bridges & more.
Cruiser is built big, yet his head is refined & pretty. He has a small heart-shaped star & no white feet. I hate to sell him, but I am limiting my showing & he is too good of a show horse to sit around here & be a school horse or pasture ornament.
