There is a 1 3/4" tear on the pommel (see 1st picture) This is the way we bought the saddle and it has not torn anymore.
Daughter has outgrown
The flap length from the bar to edge of the flap is 13 inches
The Tree widest point at the front of the saddle is 4.5 inches.
