Pawnee is 15.2 hands and his conformation is excellent with a gentle temperament to match. And naturally, he gaits like a dream, or he wouldn't be at our place, as there is nobody on Earth more picky about well gaiting horses! He is very gentle to handle and is good in a herd of mares and foals, even babysits the foals like a gentleman. He pasture breeds well, hand breeds easily and collects for AI too. He can be trail ridden right along with mares and geldings and is well mannered, and anyone other than a beginning rider can handle him easily. He is a great horse in every way, a super stallion and one of my personal all-time favorite riding horses too! If that isn't enough, he is also a double dilute smoky cream in color. This means that he carries two cream genes and can only produce palomino, buckskin and smoky black offspring! (Foals out of spotted mares can also be spotted, but will still be one of the 3 colors listed, mixed with the white areas.) Pawnee will never produce a sorrel foal. He will never produce white (cream) like himself unless bred to a mare who also has a cream gene. I have always disagreed with folks who breed for color at the expense of quality. This horse is absolutely the best quality of any horse on Earth, as proven by his many excellent offspring!
