Pawnee is a 15.2 hand STALLION and his conformation is excellent with a gentle temperament to match. He can be trail ridden right along with mares and geldings and is well mannered, and anyone besides a brand new beginning rider can ride him easily. And naturally, he gaits like a dream, or he wouldn't be at our place, as there is nobody on Earth more picky about well gaiting (SMOOTH) horses! If that isn't enough, he is also a double dilute smoky cream in color. This means that he carries two cream genes and can only produce palomino, buckskin and smoky black offspring! Pawnee will never produce a sorrel foal. He will never produce white like himself unless bred to a mare who also has a cream gene. I have always disagreed with folks who breed for color at the expense of quality. This horse is absolutely the best quality of any horse on Earth, as proven by his offspring! He is very gentle to handle and is good in a herd of mares and foals, even babysits the foals like a gentleman. He pasture breeds well, hand breeds easy and collects for AI good. He is a great horse in every way, a super stallion and one of my personal all-time favorite riding horses too! He has a calcium buildup on a splint on one inside front leg that causes him occasional lameness, so if you are wanting to ride him much he'll need a shot annually in that spot to prevent inflammation. I prefer not gelding him to sell, as he is already a great behaving trail horse as a stallion, and we will keep standing him At Stud until he sells.
