Tristan is a 1 year old bay colt out of Wopke fan de Slachtedyk (Lord Baldrik) and Psychs Gamar, going back to Psyche and Padron. He is already spectacular to look at and has the athleticism to do any sport you choose. He has a very playful personality, is very quick to learn and full of curiosity and spunk. We imprinted him at birth and he always comes to greet us when we go out to the pasture. He jumped barrels the first time I pointed him at them (at about 3 months old) and also hopped right in the trailer. He already yields to pressure in all areas of his body, knows lateral flexion and "sticks to me" on the ground and while I pony him alongside my mare. He has no problem leaving the herd as he thinks humans are two legged horses. I take him for walks several times a week down a fairly busy road so he has become desensitized to cars. He goes though puddles, into our pond and over tarps. He ties, stands for trimming, the hose/baths, takes wormer and I just started ground driving. Looking for your dream horse?
