14 y/o Tennessee Walker mare greenbroke
bought when she was 12 years old and she had never been worked with and i was a green rider, so we got a lot of groundwork done and saddle time but she did much better in the arena than on the trail, which is all i was interested in. i think she could be a good trail horse if someone had time to put miles on her 2 or 3 times a week but i know she does great in the arena. very smart and sweet horse just a little too hot for me since i dont have the time to put into her to make her to finish her off. perfect for an intermediate or experienced rider looking to do some training, shes a quick learner. she's barefoot, up to date on all vaccines and dewormer, gets trimmed about every 4 weeks, has been on small bales, round bales, and pasture, shes an easy keeper, has been stalled in the past just because her herd mates were and did fine, but hasnt been since ive had her, she gets a thick coat in the winter so i didnt even have to blanket her, she lost a little weight in the spring so i was going to get her teeth floated in about a month, trailers and stands for farrier fine, i just use a snaffle bit on her and can ride her in just a halter and bareback, negative coggins, never had any problems with lameness, founder, colic, or any accidents or any health problems, she has had a few bouts of thrush in her front feet but its an easy fix, doesnt bite/kick/buck/rear/bolt, sweet tempered but needs firm but loving approach, a little buddy sour if they are taken from her but has no problem leaving them, shes on grain just because of her minor weight loss in the spring but before that she never needed it and i dont think she will once her teeth are floated. shes a registered walker and has a smooth gait. asking $800 but will take offers
