14.1hh QH/Arab Gelding
Flair is a quarterhorse arabian cross standing at 14.1 hh, and is 16 years old. He does it all - western and english (barrels, jumping, pleasure, horsemanship, trails, etc) "Bombproof", has "been there, done that", was a show horse before I purchased him, is a Pony Club 4 H Master he was shown very successfully in Showmanship, Western and English pleasure, Trail, Barrels, Poles, horsemanship, Keyhole, as well as jumping. Was trained to drive. I never entered shows with him, however he was like my teacher. He taught me, throughout lessons and one-on-one time. He is a very impressive mover ; he moves like a small warmblood..lovely extensions of gait, he won a bunch of year end awards in Saskatchewan. We have been in parades - he loved the attention and didn't spook at the rides, decorations, kids and noises! We've ridden alongside busy highways, attended a Jay O'Jay clinic, a lot of jumping indoor as well as outdoor - he loves jumping, and he's zippy around barrels. Fabulous pleasure horse. Good on the trails, loves being out, he sidepasses and pivits. Smoooth gaits! Will follow you, stop, back up and turn with you without a lead rope. Flair is great for beginners, and loves attention. He has been wonderful with me and has brought me up to my level of experience, and he is always great when the kids come over to see the horses. Stands very well for farrier, doesn't like baths - but will stand. Clips, ties, loads well, patient, great with dogs. A little sensitive with his face, after an accident at his old home. He doesn't like being bridled, however it is not at all a big issue. I have worked with him a lot, and he has gotten much better. Flair is an incredible horse - one in a million wonder pony. He never fails to impress, and I am devistated to be selling him. I simply don't have the time that he deserves, as I am graduating, working, and then moving for college - He has been barely used in the last 2 years, and he is far too talented to be standing in the pasture. I am asking $6000 obo, serious inquiries only please, email([email protected]) if you have any questions, would like to see more pictures, or if you would like to set a date to come see him.
