Abstrakt aka "Ren" is an Akhal-Teke Sport-Horse(hybrid) out of Astrahkan (former #1 elite stud/N.America/Gelishikli line), his dam was 3/4 Arabian 1/4 QH. Although he is not a purebred, he is still acknowledged for having the breed's most prized coloring; from face markings all the way down to his three white pasterns.(Which just happens to be considered the "luckiest" of all by Turkmenistan's tradition.) Also, his photo is often used as a breed example on various Akhal-Teke sites. Ren is a deeply loved family member who must sadly find a new loving home, preferably one with a good deal knowledge on Akhal-Tekes because his personality traits are "Very" characteristic of the breed. He is perfectly sound. At 13yrs he's still never been lame despite fairly intense show-jumping training in his earlier years. Being true to his Teke blood, his is very sensitive and can be quite spirited under saddle so needs a fairly experienced rider for now, primarily due to very stallion-like traits, which is also what adds to his flashy "eye-catching presence" (more personality/intelligence than usually seen in equines). He can be calmed down to a 2 when worked daily with a gentle handler (though he has not been worked properly for quite some time now) and does have a dressage/jumping background including verbal and hand commands; almost like a K9 instead of an Equine! ( lol! ) I started him myself at 2yrs and therefore know his entire training background including health, handling, and quirks. He is very friendly and loves people, other horses, and attention, but seems especially friendly with children; but is not a big fan of men with a very deep voice or goats and will chase after large dogs if given a chance (who knows why). If you're looking for companion to spend time with daily daily, even if it's just grooming, Ren is capable of developing a truly deep bond with his human caretakers. He's always been a popular favorite at his boarding facilities (that's no exaggeration either!)
