I have a 12 yr old paint pony mare for sale. Rides and Drives. Good Beginner pony. I have had a beginner riding her for the last 2 years and they do ok together. She would be a good walk/trot pony or a move up pony for someone. She was purchased 3 years ago for my daughter to move up to but just isn't working out. Just not fast enough for what we do. We have used her for pleasure, trail riding, gaming, youth rodeo, roping, ponying young horses and goat tail tying. Stops good, but really needs a tiedown cause she carries her head really high. When she trots almost appears to have some gaiting to her. She would be a fantastic trail pony for someone thats looking for a trail pony for their child to move up into. Very easy keeper, stays fat on air. Wormed regularly, stands for the farrier and vet. Current Coggins and 5 way shot. Just ran barrels and poles at 4-h districts. Is fast enough for anything, but is lazy and really takes an aggressive rider to get her going fast. Not barn, buddy or ring sour. No kick or bite. Middle of the pack on the pecking order. Kind of a loaner pony. Easy to catch in the pasture and will stand tied all night at the trailer or on a picket line. Just not using her and she is getting fatter by the day. Needs to go to get my daughter another horse after her good horse broke a bone in her leg. Thanks for Looking.
