11yr old Icelandic Mare for sale

Registered 13.1 h, 10yr old, chestnut mare with flaxen mane and tail. She is 5 gated. Both sire and damn are imports from Iceland. Sire is a Champion flying pacer. She loads, ties, and stand nice for the farrier. Has only had shoes on twice once was last year; she has very hard feet. She is a little scared of hoses but deals with it very well. She was being ridden last year by a 15 yr old girl and myself on trails. Has been ridden english but mostly bareback and western. Will ride in a bit, side pull or with just a halter and lead. Doesn't bite,buck, kick or rear. I didn't show her,but with a little work she would do great in the show ring.She has been ridden over bridges, through tunnels, and next to cars. She is a speed demon on the trails and gets very excited to go places. She bonds very quickly to one person and that person becomes her best friend. She has been with goats and other horses. She is low man in my herd. But will try to steal foals off other mares if given the chance and bags up fully when around them. So she could be used as a nurse mare if needed. Although she has never been breed. I got her when she was very young and trained her myself. So she wasn't started on the flying tolt until all her joints closed. Suited for an intermittent rider or above. Will go to a good home only! The only reason I am selling her is I have 5 other horses and need to down size a little. She would really make some lucky person very happy and that is what her name means Happiness.
