Driving MissKaty is an 11 y/o Registered thoroughbred/paint, Bay color. Her ground work is constantly improving and we have been working with her using Dennis Reis Natural Horsemanship principles. I ride her both English and western, though she prefers to be ridden English.

Her training is fairly rudimentary. She has had some dressage training and has a modest show record (2008 – 2009) in Kansas . She has jumped up to 2’6� with her previous owner and taken single obstacles of heights up to 3’. Kate needs more finishing work over fences, but will respond well for a confident rider, as she pulls much of her confidence from her rider’s state of mind. She has been on a few trails rides with other horses and has done well. She has always been turned out with other horses, and I have never had problems with her in the pasture.
Because of my financial constraints and lack of training knowledge, I have not been able to continue her training. She will need more training, show miles and exposure to unfamiliar situation to build her skill and confidence. Coggins is UTD
I hope to find a good match for Kate with a rider who will continue her training, and above all fall in love with her. I owe her the best that I can give her—she’s been a good partner for me.
