Ben rides english, western, and bareback. He jumps 2 ft. to 3.6 ft. courses and can free jump 4 ft. Auto lead changes, bends, frames, leg yields, and is very comfortable to ride. He has showed and placed in both hunters and jumpers. He lunges, trailers, and stands well for the farrier. He is sound with good feet. He was previously used as a lesson horse, and most recently on trails.
Bottom line - Ben is better trained than his current owner! I am 48 years old and have only been riding for five months. Ben was my first horse, and while clearly a great horse, I think he would be better suited for an advanced beginner or intermediate rider. I am still quite timid, and his talents are being wasted on me. I want Ben to have a great home with someone who loves him as much as we do, but who will be able to allow him to reach his full potential.
