Millie is a 11yr old 14.3 hand tall Grey Quarter Horse Mare. She is very pretty to look at, and has a nice build and conformation, and hooves like iron to ride barefoot on rocks. She is a trail horse deluxe, and lives to go exploring and seeing new things. Put it in front of Millie, and she will tackle it head on. She is not a horse to just ride in a circle in an arena, but she wants to be out using her mind and doing something. Her training is very nicely refined, and she wants to use it for you. She neck reins, uses leg cues very nicely, backs, and has nice brakes. If you put a leg into her, she turns, and if you use more leg pressure, she turns even tighter for you. Millie is too nicely cued for a beginner, and a beginner would have her confused, and probably aggravate her. Put Millie on the trails, and she relaxes and lowers her head, and goes thru anything very willingly...even ditches deeper than she is! And water is Millie's favorite thing, and instead of trying to go around it, she goes right thru, and loves to swim right out into the pond. She stands for mounting, and then once you tell her, Millie is ready to head out for any adventure, and could care less if there is another horse with her, or if she is alone. Not spooky in the least bit, and if Millie came across a Mountain Lion, she'd probably plow it right over and keep going down the trail!! She has a nice walk, trot and canter, and has just as nice of a personality to go along with it. If it means anything, the girl that works for me said that if she had the money, Millie would be going home with her...and that says a lot with all of the different horses she rides!!!
