*SOLD* Registered POA Show Gelding
Nehem is a sweet gelding who is funny and loves attentions. He does not kick, bite, or have any bad vices in him at all! He is the biggest sweet pea you could own. He is great with other horses, when introduced to new horses he doesnt even walk up to them, but instead he continues eating or doing whatever he's doing. He isn't the lowest in the pecking order but he isnt high, he is in the middle. He doesn't kick, bite, or is mean in any way to his pasture mates. He has show points and has been shown in Barrel Racing, Pole bending, Flags, Key Hole, Halter, English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, and more. I have started him on jumping and he does really well plus he really enjoys it. He collects nice in all 3 gaits, needs a little more work on the canter but not much as with time, a deep seat, and practice he will do it.The previous owners trail rode Nehem before I had gotten him, I have rode him all over the farm by himself and with a buddy. I have even rode him alone around the farm bareback. He is not spooky and rides just fine out alone. He rides bareback perfectly, has even jumped bareback. Nehem know voice commands, you say trot or walk while cantering and he will go right into a nice smooth trot or back down to a walk. Nehem flexes on both sides, backs with his head tucked, yields his hindquarters and forequarters, with a little more time it would be easy to teach him to spin, knows his leads just needs some work on lead changes. He has had a nice groundwork foundation, I train Clinton Anderson. He yields his fore and hindquarters on the ground, backs with his head tucked, he has all the things you need to enter him into halter class and with his looks you will make the judges mouths drop! Nehem is good for the farrier, picks up all four feet, great for the vet, easy to catch, loads, bathes, you name it! Nehem has sat this winter due to it being very cold for me and not being able to go out by the horses much. Just needs someone to lunge him, saddle him up, and hop on. This is the longest he has sat with me and I don't see him being a problem for anyone to get back on and ride him. He's sat 2 weeks before and I hopped on him, no lunging and he was fine. No buck, or even a slight attitude. But he has sat this winter so I would just lunge him anyways just because he has sat for a while. It wouldn't take much to get him going again. I have his permanent height card, show records, papers, vet history, all these go with him. More pictures can be emailed upon request, I have pictures of him jumping, collecting, ect. Reason for selling is I bought him and I was 5'4 1/2, now I am 5'7 and I am just too big for him, I am also getting down to just 2 horses one being my barrel racing gelding. Has had alot of training put into him since I had gotten him. A GOOD HOME IS A MUST!
Took Nehem out today, saddled him up and rode for the first time since before winter. He did perfect, no buck, kick, rear, or anything naughty at all. He collected nice, backed with his head tucked, yielded his hind and fore quarters, flexed, bent through his shoulders, responded nice to voice commands, and was overall the same as he was before I stopped riding him. This is how Nehem is when he sits for months.
