I AM NOW CONSIDERING A TRADE FOR A SMALLER 14.2 TO 15.2H SMOOTH GAITED HORSE BUT WITH A SLOWER FLAT WALK BUT THE SAME AMOUNT TRAINING get up and go BUT NO CRAZY HORSES!!!
LadyHawke is 16.1h and would be best suited to a more experienced rider as she has a big motor and can be turned on with OR WITHOUT spurs and gentle hands. Un inexperienced rider may get her going without realizing it. To get the most from her experience it helps but is not necessary if you take time to read her, bond with this amazing horse then ride her. She has had inexperienced riders on her and she was perfect for them. Once you learn to ride her she is a dream to anyone. She is a gentle well trained horse with no vices or problems. Lately she is not the best walking on a lead rope we need to go back to basics but I physically can not work her. She is ridden on trails, and roads, ridden at the ocean often as well as mountain riding with big open fields with gates to open and close with out getting off, as she spends a lot of time in Middle TN In FL She has been through the drive-through at Mc' Donalds when we needed a cold drink or lunch which she likes to share and Walgreeens drive-throush as well which took being ridden on busy roads with no fear to get there. Not soar on rocky roads which we live on and has been barefoot forever.
She is a well traveled horse, she jumps in the trailer as soon as the door is opened. She blasted through a Bess Wall obstacle clinic where she proved to me she will do anything asked of her. Pics with tarp. She has verbal commands and a great whoa. She goes western or English or a combination of both I have had this 14 yr old horse for 10 years she is virtually bomb proof ( all horses will shy at sometime) she rides nice alone or in a group, front, back, middle, but likes to be ahead as she has a fast dog walk. She also will jump if you set her up and she will go much higher than needed.
She has great 4 beat flat walk gait clocked at 8.8mph which makes her a FANTASTIC ENDUANCE HORSE she can keep this pace up for 4 miles and is in amazing condition. She has a gentle slow lope and she can also rack!. Come and try her.
Also trained to drive and up till a couple of years ago we had a numatic heavy wagon she pulled.......She was originally bought for a disabled persona and was fantastic with him. It is really true horses do know what they have on them as riders!!
I love this horse and she is very hard to let go of. She Has Heart and Soul and is the easiest keeper with her shiny black coat. I am just getting older and have physical limitations.
REGISTER NAME is A Homecoming Queen DOB 7-10-99 on her papers are Ebonys masterpiece, Pride of Midnight, Suns Delight, ect.........Impecable blood lines!!
She is a maiden mare, never been bred but she has the old foundation classic features She is tall with a longer body and thick main and tail. Her bloodlines appear that if she were bred to a black and white SSH TWH she should have a black with white foal. SHE WOULD MALE A GREAT MULE MAMA TO PASS ON HER TRAITS TO gaited mule too.
As looking at other ads I know I have said too much but I do not expect anyone to spend what she is worth. She was reduced in TN over the fall and no one looked at her back home in FL her price reflects what she is worth. If I keep her as a yard orniment or a guest horse I will love her till her time or my time comes. If you look at her with a true confidence that you want a perfect horse than call. If not go less money and see what you get.
